Waka Waka is a strategic card game where players take on the roles of African traders aiming to achieve the most power and wealth by trading goods, loading ships, and seeking the favor of gods. The objective is to be the first to reach a certain number of prestige points.
Game Components
- Goods Cards: These represent different goods that can be traded.
- Prestige Point Cards: These track the players' progress.
- God Cards: Offer special bonuses that can influence the game.
- Ships: Need to be loaded with goods to earn points.
Setup
- Each player receives a set number of Goods Cards.
- Shuffle the deck of Prestige Point Cards and God Cards and place them in the center.
- Arrange the Ships, noting the conditions under which they can be loaded.
Gameplay
The game is played in rounds, with each round consisting of the following phases:
- Trading
- Players can exchange Goods Cards with one another or load them onto ships.
