Objective of the Game:
In Piratissimo, you play as a pirate ship captain aiming to collect as many gold coins as possible and be the first player to bring them back to your own pirate hideout. Players sail their pirate ships across the sea, collecting gold coins from islands and other ships, trying to plunder treasures from fellow players.
Game Setup:
- Game Board:
- The board represents the sea with various islands. Each island has a specific number of gold coins.
- Coins:
- Distribute the gold coins evenly across the islands as indicated in the game manual.
- Pirate Ships:
- Each player selects a color and takes the corresponding pirate ship. Place the ships on the starting field.
- Dice:
- A special die is used to move the ships.
Gameplay:
- Starting the Round:
- Players take turns rolling the die and moving their pirate ship in a straight line according to the number rolled.
- Spaces on the Board:
- Island: When docking at an island, the player can load gold coins.
- Opponent's Ship: If a player lands on a space occupied by another ship, they can attempt to steal the gold coins.
- Storms and Other Events: Some spaces have special rules (e.g., losing gold coins).
- Returning to the Pirate Hideout:
- Once a player has collected enough gold, they steer their ship back to the hideout to safely deposit the gold coins.
Winning Conditions:
- The player who first deposits a set number of gold coins in their hideout wins the game. Alternatively, the player with the most coins after a set time is the winner.
Strategic Tips:
