Objective of the Game
Conquian is a card game that revolves around forming combinations of cards. The main goal of the game is to be the first to arrange a hand of nine cards into "sets" or "melds." These melds can be "runs" (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) or "sets" (three or four cards of the same rank).
Setup
Deck: Conquian is played with a 40 card deck. Typically, a Spanish deck is used, or a standard deck with the 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings removed (leaving the cards 2 to 9 in each of the four suits).
Basic Rules
- Dealing Cards: Each player receives ten cards. The remaining deck is placed face down in the center to form the draw pile.

Starting the Game: The first player can either take the top card of the draw pile or lay a card from their hand onto the discard pile.

- A player can meld cards by laying down the appropriate card combinations.
