Objective

Dragomino is a children's game designed as a kid-friendly version of the popular game Kingdomino. The objective of the game is to collect the most dragon eggs by cleverly matching landscape tiles.

Components

• 28 landscape tiles
• 69 dragon eggs in various colors
• 4 starting tiles (one per player)
• 4 Mother Dragon tiles

Setup

1. Start Tiles: Each player takes a start tile and places it in front of them.
2. Shuffle Landscape Tiles: Shuffle the landscape tiles and create face-down stacks.
3. Prepare Dragon Eggs: Lay out the dragon eggs sorted by color.
4. Mother Dragon Tiles: Place these nearby to indicate which player will start the next round.

Game Play

The game is played over several rounds, with each round consisting of the following steps:

1. Draw Landscape Tiles: Draw four landscape tiles and place them face up in the center.
2. Determine Turn Order: The player with the Mother Dragon tile picks a landscape tile first. The other players then choose a tile in clockwise order.
3. Place Tiles: Each player adds the chosen landscape tile to their existing landscape. The tile must connect at least one side with already placed tiles.
4. Collect Dragon Eggs: If the newly placed tiles connect matching landscapes (e.g., forest to forest), the player draws a corresponding dragon egg tile:
   • Success: If it's a dragon egg with a baby dragon, the player keeps it.
   • Empty Egg: If it's empty, the player keeps the empty egg tile face down.
5. Pass Mother Dragon: The player who picked an empty egg gets the Mother Dragon tile and starts the next round.

End of the Game

The game ends when all landscape tiles have been drawn and placed, and no more tiles are available. Players then count their dragon eggs; empty eggs do not count.

Winner

The player with the most baby dragon eggs wins the game. In case of a tie, the players share the victory.

• Tile Placement: Try to create valuable connections that will likely earn you more dragon eggs.
• Use Mother Dragon Wisely: Utilize the Mother Dragon tile to ensure a strong starting position in the next round and secure promising tiles first.
