Basic Rules
- Setup:
- Players alternately place canals and bridges on the game board to create or enlarge districts.

Gameplay:
- The game is played over two phases. During each phase, players will take turns performing actions related to canal placement and district founding.

Players take turns and may perform the following actions on their turn:
- Move Mexica Figure: Players can move their figures across the board. Movement occurs along the established bridges with costs based on the distance.
- Build Canals: Players can build canals to create districts.
- Found Districts: Once a player fills an area with a sufficient value of temples, they may found a district and place a district tile.
- Build Temples: Used to secure majorities in districts.
- Other optional actions include tactically altering the environment to create advantageous new districts.

Scoring:
- At the end of each phase, scoring is conducted for all districts. Players earn points based on the majorities in the districts where they have placed temples.
- Additional points are awarded at the end of the game for unused canal tiles and strategically advantageous board positions.
