Objective of the Game
Crapette is a two-player card game played with a standard 52-card deck. The main objective is to get rid of all the cards from your personal pile, the "Crapette," and your discard pile by sorting them onto the shared playing area in ascending order.
Game Materials
- A standard 52-card deck without jokers
- A playing area with space for multiple discard stacks
Setup
- Both players shuffle their decks and place the pile face-down in front of them. This is the "Crapette."
- Each player draws the top 13 cards from their Crapette and lays them out face-up in a row.
- The top card of the remaining Crapette stack is then drawn and placed face-up on the table.
Gameplay
- Players take turns, starting with the player who did not shuffle.
- On every turn, a player may place cards from their row, Crapette stack, or discard pile in order from Ace to King on the communal discard stacks.
- Cards can also be placed in descending order and alternating colors (black-red or red-black) on their own personal row.
During a Turn:
- Place cards from the Crapette or row onto discard stacks: This is done in ascending order. For example, an Ace can make a new stack, and then a 2 is placed on top.
- Move cards from other columns: You can rearrange cards in descending and alternating colors within your row.
- Browse Crapette: Whenever a player cannot make any more moves, they can turn over the top of their Crapette stack or lay down their face-up card onto a discard stack.
Special Rules and Nuances
- If a player has no valid moves, they must draw the top face-down card from their Crapette.
- The first player to clear all their cards wins the game.

- A key strategy is to keep your row as flat as possible by regularly placing cards onto the center stacks.
- Pay attention to suit color and try to plan ahead for moves that will enable subsequent turns.
