Objective
Kayanak is a game where players take on the role of Inuit fishermen trying to catch as many fish as possible from a frozen lake in the Arctic. The goal of the game is to collect the most and highest-value fish.
Components
- 1 game board with a large, white playing area representing the frozen lake
- 4 player tokens that represent the anglers
- 1 "drilling tool" (metal pin) for drilling holes in the playing board
- 16 "fishing rods" with magnets at the ends
- Small cardboard fish with different values

Setup
- Place the game board on the table.
- Each player selects a token and places it at a corner of the playing field.
- Distribute the cardboard fish under the game board, gently inserting them below the paper.
- Each player receives a "fishing rod" magnet.
- Determine who will start first by rolling the die.
Gameplay
