Objective of the Game

Keltis is a strategic board game where players move stones along paths to achieve the highest score by the end of the game. Points are earned by reaching certain positions on the paths and collecting valuable tiles.

Game Components

• A game board showing various paths
• Cards in five different colors, numbered from 0 to 10
• Playing figures in five different colors for each player
• Scoring tiles
• Point stones

Game Setup

1. Each player chooses a color and takes the five figures of that color.
2. Shuffle the cards and deal eight cards to each player.
3. Place the remaining cards in a draw pile.
4. Place point stones and scoring tiles on the designated spaces on the board.
5. Each player places one of their figures on the starting space of each of the five colored paths.

Gameplay

The game is played in clockwise order, and each player has the following options on their turn:

1. Play a Card:
2. Play a card from your hand in one of the five colors. Cards must be played in ascending or descending order, meaning a 3 can only be followed by a 4 or a 2.

3. Move your piece on the corresponding color path forward by the number of spaces equal to the card played (e.g., playing a '4' moves the piece four spaces).

4. Discard a Card:

5. Place a card from your hand on the discard pile.

6. Discard piles are sorted according to card colors.

7. Draw a Card:

8. Draw either the top card from the draw pile or a card from one of the discard piles.

Scoring and Points

• Scoring Tiles: Specific fields have scoring tiles that provide bonus points.
• Milestones Reached: The farther pieces advance on paths, the more points they score.
• Negative Points: Pieces still in the red zone at game end incur negative points.

End of the Game

The game ends when either all five pieces of one player reach the ends of paths or when the draw pile is exhausted and no one can play more cards. Players then tally their points, and the highest score wins.
