Verräter
Objective
The objective of the game is to gain the most victory points by making strategic decisions and skillfully playing hand cards. The game centers around the conflict between two factions, the "Tandorer Clan" and "Adlern Alliance", where players can switch allegiances each round to gain advantages.
Game Setup

Player Board and Markers: Each player receives a player board and markers to indicate their faction allegiance and points.

Card Distribution: Shuffle the various decks of cards (influence, landscape, role, and event cards) and deal 5 hand cards to each player.

Faction Choice: In the first round, choose one of the two factions.
Gameplay
The game is played over several rounds, each consisting of the following phases:
1. Role Phase
Each player secretly selects a role card from their hand. Roles provide unique abilities: - Traitor: Allows changing factions. - Farmer: Earns extra points through landscape cards. - Builder: Enhances defense or attack.
2. Influence Phase
- Players secretly place influence cards on the two factions to boost their battle potential. These cards determine which team is stronger in the subsequent combat phase.
3. Combat Phase
- Reveal influence cards.
- The faction with the highest total combat points wins the battle.
- Gain or lose victory points based on faction strength and chosen team.
4. Action Phase
- Each role has a specific action. Execute your role's action to strengthen your position.
5. Cleanup Phase
- Draw cards to the hand limit.
- Prepare for the next round.
Victory Points and End of Game
The game ends when all event cards have been played or a predetermined score is reached. The player with the most victory points wins the game.

- Faction Switching: Use the Traitor wisely to join the most advantageous faction and earn benefits.
- Role Selection: Choose your role based on the current game situation for both short and long-term advantages.
- Influence Cards: Place your influence cards strategically; a balance of defense and offense can be crucial.
