Objective
The goal of The aMAZEing Labyrinth is to be the first player to collect all of their assigned treasures and return to the starting point. Players must navigate the shifting pathways of the labyrinth to collect treasures hidden across the board.
Setup
- Place the game board in the center of the table.
- Shuffle the labyrinth tiles and place them on the board according to the pattern. One tile will be left over.
- Position the player markers on their respective starting positions, according to color.
- Shuffle the treasure cards and deal them out equally amongst players. Each player keeps their cards face-down and can only look at the top card.
Gameplay
- Sliding a Labyrinth Tile: On each turn, a player takes the spare labyrinth tile and slides it into a row or column following the arrows, pushing a tile out on the opposite side.
- Restriction: You may not push the tile back in at the spot just pushed.

Ensure no player marker is pushed off the board. If it happens, place it on the newly created space at the other side where the tile was inserted.

Moving the Pawn: After sliding the tile, the player can move their pawn as far as possible along the open paths in the labyrinth. If the player reaches the space with their current target treasure, they reveal the treasure card, set it aside, and draw a new one.
Game End
- The winner is the first player to collect all their treasures and return to their starting point.
Strategic Tips
- Plan Ahead: Try to anticipate how tiles will shift in future turns and how they will affect the paths.
- Block Opponents: Use the spare tile to block other players from accessing their treasures.
- Be Flexible: Be prepared to adapt strategies since the board changes constantly.
