Objective of the Game
The objective of Carcassonne – The Dice Game is to score the most points over multiple rounds by strategically rolling dice and making smart decisions.
Game Setup
- Game Components:
- 9 dice, each bearing different symbols: towns, roads, fields, and monasteries.
- A score sheet pad and pens.

Preparation:
- Each player takes a scoring sheet and a pen.
- Randomly select a starting player.
Gameplay
The game is played over a predetermined number of rounds.
- Rolling Dice:
- The active player rolls all 9 dice.

After each roll, the player can set aside any number of dice and re-roll the remaining dice up to two more times.

Scoring:
- After the third roll, the player scores based on the chosen and rolled symbols:
- Towns: 3 matching town symbols score 2 points, 4 matching score 3 points, and so on.
- Roads: Each complete road section is noted on the score sheet.
- Fields: Monasteries score based on adjacent field symbols.
- Monasteries: Completing a monastery with surrounding field symbols earns bonus points.

Next Player:
- The next player in clockwise order becomes the active player and begins their turn.
End of the Game
The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds. All players total their points. The player with the most points wins the game.
