Finca: A Game of Fruit Selling on Mallorca

Objective of the Game:
In "Finca", players aim to collect and trade fruits efficiently to score the most points. The game ends when no more Finca cards can be distributed, and the player with the highest total wins.

Setup

1. Prepare the Game Board:
   Place the game board in the center of the table. It depicts the island of Mallorca with several windmills surrounded by six types of fruits (olives, grapes, lemons, oranges, figs, almonds).

2. Distribute Fruit Tiles:
   Place fruit tiles on their respective sections shown on the game board.

3. Finca Cards Layout:
   Shuffle the Finca cards according to fruit type and point value and arrange them according to the number of players. Each card shows which and how much fruit must be delivered to earn it.

4. Distribute Donkey Carts:
   Each player receives a set of donkey carts needed for deliveries.

5. Determine Starting Position:
   Player figures are placed on the windmill sections in turn.

Game Play

The game is played in rounds, with each player taking their turn. A turn typically includes the following steps:

1. Move a Figure:
   The player moves their figure from one windmill to the next. The number of steps is equal to the number of figures on the current windmill.

2. Collect Fruits:
   After moving, the player collects the number of fruits from that section equal to the number of figures on it.

3. Make Deliveries:
   Once a player has the required fruits, they can deliver them to earn a Finca card, which is placed face down in front of them.

4. Special Windmill Move:
   When a player has collected six fruits of one type, they can turn in all to move the windmill marker, effectively shifting available fruit types.

Ending and Scoring

The game ends when all Finca cards have been distributed. Players tally the point values of their collected Finca cards, earning additional bonus points for completing sets of deliveries.
