Objective
The objective of Bermuda is to work together as a team to memorize as many cards as possible and finish the game with the highest score possible. It's a cooperative game, where all players collaborate to achieve the best outcome.
Components
- A set of disc cards with various number values and colors.
- A sand timer, often lasting only 30 seconds or 1 minute.
- A board or area to place the cards.
Setup
- Shuffle the Cards: Shuffle the deck thoroughly and place it face down in the center of the table.
- Group Formation: Players should sit around the table so that everyone can easily reach the cards.
Gameplay
- Card Revealing: One player starts by drawing a card from the deck and placing it face up in the center. This is repeated by each player until the timer runs out.
- Memorizing: Players must memorize the position and value of the cards as they are revealed. No player may take notes or touch the cards to alter their position.
- Start Timer: Once all cards are revealed, flip the sand timer, giving players a short time to memorize the sequence of the cards.
- Announcing: Once the timer is up, players must take turns announcing the order and value of the cards. Mistakes lead to point deductions or penalty cards.
- Repeat Rounds: The game continues until there are no cards left.
Winning Conditions
- Count the Points: The desired sequence must be correct to accumulate points. Mistakes result in point loss and additional challenges in subsequent rounds.
- The team wins by ending the game with the highest score possible.
