Objective
In Vabanque, players take on the roles of casino owners aiming to amass the most wealth by outsmarting their opponents through strategic gameplay. The player with the most money at the end wins the game.
Components
- 6 Player figurines (one per player)
- 30 Table cards
- 1 Game board featuring different casino tables
- 168 Chips representing money
- 30 Action cards that offer special benefits or challenges
- Treasure chests to conceal players' money
Setup
- Place the game board in the center of the table.
- Each player takes a figurine, a treasure chest, and some chips.
- Shuffle the action cards and deal a certain number to players based on the number of players.
- Place the table cards on specified spots on the game board.
Gameplay
The game consists of 6 rounds, each divided into several phases:
1. Start Phase
- All players place their figurines on a table offer.
- Each player can choose one action card to play for the round.
2. Betting Phase
- Players decide how much money to bet on the chosen table card.
- Only one player can bet at a table if another player is present.
3. Action Phase
- Players execute their chosen action cards.
- Actions can have positive or negative impacts on individual or all players.
4. Winning Phase
- Drawn table cards reveal the winner.
- The player or team with the best card wins the betting pool of that table.
End of the Game
The game concludes after the sixth round. All players count their accumulated money. The player with the most money is the winner.
