Objective
In Code 777, your goal is to deduce your own hidden numbers by observing and analyzing the hints and questions presented during the game by other players. Each player has three numbered cards in front of them, which they cannot see themselves.
Components
- Number tiles of various colors, numbered 1 through 7
- Score sheets for notes
- Question piles with various questions and clues
- Stands to hold cards
Setup
- Each player receives a stand and three number tiles, placed in it so that only other players can see them.
- Distribute score sheets and pencils to all players.
- Shuffle the question cards and place them as a face-down stack in reach of every player.
Gameplay
- Begin a turn with the active player drawing the top question card, reading it aloud.
- All players, except the one reading, pay attention to their own answers of the question by analyzing information from the visible tiles of others around the table.
- Example questions could be: “Who has more yellow tiles than blue ones?” or “Which players have a total sum greater than 15?”
- Based on this observation, players answer the question.
Recording Notes
- Players make notes throughout the game on their sheets to eliminate possibilities and gain clues toward their own numbers.
Winning the Game
- The game ends when a player successfully deduces their hidden numbers after declaring their guess.
- If incorrect, the player must wait for another chance using new information to make a guess while others continue.
