Objective of the Game
Robo Rally is a strategy board game where players control robots to reach checkpoints on a factory floor. The aim is to reach all checkpoints in the designated order before the other players.
Game Components
- Game Board(s): These represent the factory floor and contain obstacles like conveyor belts, gears, and pits.
- Robot Figures: Each player controls a robot.
- Program Cards: Used to program the movements of the robots.
- Checkpoint Markers: Represent the checkpoints to be reached.
- Life and Damage Markers: Used to track the condition of the robots.
Gameplay

Setup: Arrange the game boards, place the checkpoints according to the scenario. Each player selects a robot, receives the corresponding figure and a reference card.

Programming: In each round, players draw nine Program Cards and select five to program their robot's moves. These steps include movements like forward moves and turns.

Activation Phase: Players lay their program cards face down in order. Once everyone is ready, cards are revealed and executed in five phases.

Priority: In case of a conflict (e.g., two robots attempting the same space), movement is resolved based on the priority number on the card.

Board Interaction: Robots can interact with various board elements:
- Conveyor belts automatically move the robots.
- Gears rotate the robots.
- Laser towers and other robots can inflict damage.

Pits cause the loss of a life.

Damage Allocation: Robots taking damage receive damage markers, which restrict future programming slots.

Repair and Upgrade: Robots can remove damage or receive upgrades by passing repair sites.

Game End: The game ends when one player has reached all checkpoints in the designated order. This player is the winner.
Strategic Tips
- Set Priorities: Pay attention to your move cards' priority to gain control of actions.
- Plan Ahead: Try to anticipate the movements of other robots to avoid collisions.
- Risk Management: Use conveyors and gears strategically for quick navigation but watch out for hazards.
