Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck
Objective
The objective of Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck is to collect as many worms as possible by successfully securing domino tiles with worm symbols. The player with the most worms at the end of the game wins.
Components
- 16 Domino Tiles: numbered from 21 to 36, featuring 0 to 4 worms per tile.
- 8 Dice: with numbers 1-5 and a worm symbol.
Setup
- Domino Tiles: Arrange them in ascending order in the center of the table.
- Each player starts with no dice or collected worms.
Gameplay
The game is played in turns. In each turn, a player performs the following steps:
1. Rolling Dice
- The player rolls all 8 dice.
2. Selecting Dice
- After each roll, the player selects all dice of one type (e.g., all 4s or all worms) to set aside.
- Important: Each type of dice can only be set aside once per turn.
3. Continue Rolling or Stop
- The player can decide whether to continue rolling with the remaining dice or to end their turn.
4. Claim a Domino Tile or Fail
- Stop: If the total sum of set aside dice includes worms, and matches or exceeds the value of an available tile, the player can claim that tile.
- Fail: If the player can neither continue rolling nor meets the stop condition, or the total does not match any tile, it's a bust. They must return their top domino tile (if any) to the center and turn face down the highest available tile, blocking it temporarily.
5. End Turn
- Place the obtained tile on top of the player's stack.
End of the Game
- The game ends when there are no tiles left in the center of the table.
- The winner is the player with the most worms on their collected tiles.
Strategic Tips
- Risk Management: Wisely decide when to stop to secure your catch and avoid busts.
- Worms Count: Actively pursue worms to maintain strategic balance in the game.
- Observe Opponents: Keep an eye on other players' collections to anticipate their next moves.
