Objective of the Game

The objective of Noch mal! is to score as many points as possible by marking off most fields in different colors on your score sheet. The game ends when a player completely fills in two color groups on their sheet. The player with the most points wins.

Game Components

• Dice: The game includes 6 special dice, 3 of which have different colored sides (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Orange, Purple) and 3 with numbers (1, 2, 3, 4x, 5, 6).
• Score Sheet: Each player uses their own sheet featuring a grid of fields in six different colors.
• Pens to mark off fields.

Setup

• Each player receives a score sheet and a pen.
• Ensure dice are ready and each player has the same starting sheet.

Gameplay

1. Roll: A player rolls all six dice. Players can then act simultaneously or in turns.

2. Dice Selection: Each player independently chooses a pair of dice consisting of one number die and one color die. The chosen pair determines which fields can be marked on their sheet.

3. The number indicates how many consecutive fields can be marked.

4. The color indicates in which color group those fields can be marked.

5. Marking Fields: Players mark the corresponding number of adjacent fields in the chosen color on their sheet, which must be contiguous either horizontally or vertically.

6. Special Fields: Some fields are marked with a joker or star:
7. Joker: Once per round, a player can use a joker to check fields in any color regardless of the selected color die.
8. Stars: Achieved when the selected field for marking has a star, granting additional points.
9. End of Round: After marking, the round ends. When a player completely fills in two color groups, the game ends.

Ending the Game and Scoring

• The game ends once a player has completely filled in two color groups.
• Points are awarded for each completed line and column, as well as collected stars.
• The player with the highest total score wins.

Strategic Tips

• Planning: Try to plan ahead for which fields will help complete lines and columns effectively.
• Joker Usage: Use your joker strategically, whether to capitalize on an opportunity or to complete a color group.
• Observe Opponents: Pay attention to your opponents' sheets to understand their strategy and counteract it in your game.
