Objective
In Tutankhamun, players aim to be the first to collect the largest share of Tutankhamun's burial treasures. The objective is to reduce your point score to zero by collecting treasure pieces.
Components
The game consists of various tile pieces, each representing different treasures. There are also scoring tokens and overview boards.
Setup
- Shuffle the tiles: Mix all the tile pieces and form a path of about 30 tiles.
- Each player receives an overview board and a scoring marker set at a total of 30 points.
Game Play
The game proceeds in a clockwise manner. On a player's turn, they can perform the following actions: - Move Tile: The player can pick a tile from the path and add it to their collection. - Collect Treasures: When a complete set of a treasure is collected, all players score based on their contribution to that collection and subtract these points from their score track.
Special Rules
- Lucky Tiles: These tiles allow for special actions such as extra moves or swapping tiles with other players.
- Hieroglyphs: Hieroglyphs can be used to block the path but can be removed using special lucky tiles.
End of the Game
The game ends when a player's score reaches zero, and that player wins.
Strategy Tips
Try to complete sets of treasures quickly to secure permanent points. Also, be aware of which tiles other players need and block them if possible by picking up a needed tile from the path.
Deciding when to reduce your score and when to pick or block tiles are crucial to winning the game.
