Objective of the Game

Kakerlaken Duell is a fast-paced and thrilling bluffing game for two players. The aim is to bring your own cockroach into the pantry as quickly as possible while preventing your opponent from doing the same by correctly guessing their bluffs.

Game Components

• 12 Cards (6 cards for each player: 2 Ingredient Cards, 2 Action Cards, 2 Bluff Cards)
• 1 Game Board with a Pantry
• 2 Cockroach Figures

Setup

1. Each player receives a complete set of 6 cards: 2 Ingredient Cards, 2 Action Cards, and 2 Bluff Cards.
2. The cockroach figures are placed on their starting positions on the game board.
3. Players sit opposite each other with the game board in between.

Game Play

The game is played in multiple rounds. In each round, players perform the following actions alternately:

1. Select a card: Both players secretly choose one of their cards and place them face down in front of them.
2. Reveal the cards: The cards are revealed at the same time.
3. Bluff Card: The player tries to deceive the opponent, who has to guess whether the player is bluffing or being honest.
4. Ingredient Card: The player tries to get one of the needed ingredients into the pantry.
5. Action Card: The player performs an action that helps with specific game strategies (e.g., advancing the cockroach).
6. Perform Actions: Depending on the revealed card and the opponent's guess, the cockroach is either advanced or stays put.

Special Features

• Bluffing: Players can attempt to disguise their move as something else. The ability to see through the opponent’s tactics or successfully bluff is key.
• Recognizing Opponent: It can be advantageous to analyze the opponent's playing style and make decisions accordingly.

End of Game

The game ends when one player’s cockroach reaches the pantry. That player wins the game.
