Objective

In Piranha Pedro, you control a daring explorer named Pedro attempting to navigate through a dangerous swamp full of piranhas to reach the safe land. The main goal is to keep Pedro moving on land tiles as long as possible without falling into the water and being eaten by piranhas.

Setup

• Each player receives a set of terrain cards in their color. These cards show different types of landscapes or movement directions (forward, backward, left, right).
• Pedro begins the game at the center of the board.

Gameplay

1. Players alternate placing one of their terrain cards face down.
2. After a card is placed, Pedro moves according to the direction and number of spaces indicated by the card.
3. If a terrain card is revealed that moves Pedro off safe land (e.g., over an edge or into the water), Pedro falls in, and the piranhas eat him!
4. A player can attempt to rescue Pedro by playing a special "Bridge" card to guide him safely across (if available).

Winning Conditions

• The player who keeps Pedro on land the longest wins the game.

Game Strategies

• Managing Cards: Be cautious in playing movement/terrain cards. The timing and order can be crucial to success.
• Risk vs. Safety: Balance the need to move Pedro multiple spaces against the risk of a dangerous tile.
• Bluffing: Use bluffing tactics to mislead other players and affect their moves.
