Instructions Krass Kariert

Objective

In Krass Kariert, the goal is to strategically outmaneuver your opponents by being the first to play all your cards, thereby avoiding accumulating "Krass Cards." If a player reaches a certain number of Krass Cards, they lose the game.

Components

• 55 playing cards with various colors and numbers
• 15 Krass Cards
• 6 player aid cards

Setup

1. Each player receives a player aid card.
2. The Krass Cards are set aside.
3. Deal 10 cards to each player; place 3 cards as face-down lifelines and take the remaining 7 cards in hand.
4. Remaining cards form the draw pile.

Basic Rules

Gameplay: In each round, players aim to lay down as many of their cards as possible by playing strategic combinations. The lead player controls the game’s sequence and the number of cards that can be laid down by playing combinations.

Combinations can be: - Single cards - Pairs of the same rank - Triplets of the same rank - Sequences of at least three consecutive numbers of the same color

Playing Combinations

1. A player plays a valid combination.
2. The next player must then play the same number of cards that are higher in value. If they cannot or choose not to, they must pass.
3. The last player to lay down cards starts the next round.

Losing Lifelines

If a player cannot play any cards and still has "lifelines," they must turn one over and draw 3 new hand cards to continue the game.

End of a Round: A round ends when a player has played all their hand cards. The other players tally how many cards they still hold and draw that many Krass Cards.

Winning Conditions

The game ends when a player reaches an agreed number of Krass Cards. The player with the fewest Krass Cards is the winner.
