6 nimmt!
Objective of the game:
The goal of "6 nimmt!" is to collect as few points (or bullheads, which count as negative points) as possible. Each card has a certain number of bullheads printed on it, which are bad to collect. The winner is the player with the fewest bullheads at the end of the game.
Components: - 104 cards numbered from 1 to 104, each with a varying number of bullheads.
Setup: - Shuffle the cards and deal 10 cards to each player. - Lay four cards face-up on the table to form four rows.
How to play:
The game is played over several rounds, each consisting of the phases of Choosing, Placing, and Scoring.
1. Choosing:
- Each player picks a card from their hand secretly. All players reveal their chosen cards simultaneously.
2. Placing:
- The revealed cards are placed, one by one, onto the four rows.
- The cards must be placed in order of ascending numbers, onto the row where the last card has the closest lower value.
- If a card cannot be placed because it is lower than all the tail cards of all rows, the player must take a row of their choice and place their card as the new first card in that row.
- If a card is the sixth card in a row, the player must take the five previous cards of that row, and their card starts a new row.
3. Scoring:
- Record the number of bullheads from the taken cards.
End of a round: - When all players have played their ten cards, the round ends. Shuffle the cards for a new round. - The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds or when the deck is exhausted.
Strategic tips: - Watch your opponents' cards and try to predict which rows will be heavily contested. - Keep a variety of values in your hand to adapt to different rows. - Be aware of which rows might force you to collect cards and try to avoid those situations.
"6 nimmt!" is a thrilling card game that combines strategy and luck. Each new round can change the game's dynamics and opportunities, keeping it fresh and exciting over multiple rounds.
