Objective of the Game:

The Crew is a cooperative card game where players must work together to complete missions and win the game. It is set in space, and players take on the roles of astronauts who must complete various tasks to successfully accomplish the missions.

Setup:

• The game consists of a deck of 40 suit cards in four colors (pink, blue, green, yellow) numbered from 1 to 9 and 4 rocket cards (also trump cards), which are the highest cards in the game.
• Additionally, there are 36 task cards that correspond to the suit and rocket cards.
• There is a logbook with 50 different missions. Players decide either which mission to play or start with Mission 1 and work their way through.

Gameplay:

1. Dealing Cards: At the start of a mission, all suit cards are dealt evenly among players. Each mission has specific conditions described in the logbook.
2. Assigning Tasks: According to the mission specifications, task cards are drawn and distributed among players. A task requires a player to win a specific trick with the indicated card.
3. Playing Tricks: The player left of the player with Rocket 4 begins. Players play in turns, playing one card from their hand:
4. If possible, they must follow the suit of the lead card.
5. If a player cannot follow suit, they may play a different color or a rocket.
6. The trick goes to the player with the highest card in the lead color, or if a rocket is played, the highest rocket.
7. Completing Tasks: Each time a player wins a trick, they check if it completes any of their tasks.
8. Communication Rules: Communication is limited. Players can use a communication tile once per mission to convey limited information, such as the highest, lowest, or only card of a suit in their hand.

Mission Flow:

• Each mission has specific conditions and tasks (e.g., "win trick with Blue 6") described in the logbook.
• The number of tasks and difficulty increases with missions.
• The Crew wins the mission if all tasks are completed before cards run out.
• If they fail, the mission must be repeated.

Strategy Tips:

• Communication is key—use it wisely to give precise hints.
• Prioritize tasks strategically! Some tasks may be harder to achieve if attempted too late.
• Trumps: Use rockets strategically to ensure critical tricks are won by the right players.

The Crew requires teamwork to overcome challenges, with each mission bringing new strategies, keeping the gameplay exciting and diverse.
