Objective of the Game

The aim of Taverns of Tiefenthal is to manage the most successful tavern in the village of Tiefenthal. Players need to strategically manage beer and money to attract new guests, hire staff, and upgrade their tavern. At the end of the game, the player with the most victory points wins.

Game Components

• Tavern Tableaus: Each tableau represents a tavern that can be upgraded.
• Guest Cards: Represent visitors who sit in your tavern.
• Staff and Beer Counter Discs: Tools to mark beer production and staff.
• Dice: Determine the actions you can perform in a turn.
• Markers and Money Tokens: For managing beer and money.

Setup

1. Prepare Taverns: Each player receives a tavern tableau.
2. Set Up Card Decks: Lay out the starting cards. Each tableau gets the same initial cards.
3. Modular Setup: Expansion modules can be added to enhance the game.

Gameplay

The game proceeds over several rounds, divided into the following phases:
