- Dive and monster cards are shuffled and set aside.
- Each player draws 6 character cards.
Game Play
The game is played over 10 days (rounds), each day composed of morning, afternoon, and evening phases. Players secretly choose actions to perform in each phase.
1. Morning Phase
- Action Selection: Each phase offers several options, such as hiring divers, buying equipment, or exploring wrecks.
- Diving: When choosing to dive, a player draws a number of dive cards based on their equipment and diver skills. These determine what is found (treasures or monsters).
2. Afternoon Phase
- Selling Treasures: Treasures can be sold in shops on the board. The price is set by demand cards.
3. Evening Phase
- Drawing Event Cards: They have immediate or lasting effects until the next day and can be either positive or negative.
Special Rules
- Monster Cards: When drawing dive cards, monsters may appear. Additional character cards are needed to deal with these threats.
- End of Game: After 10 days, the game ends. The player with the most money wins.
Strategic Advice
- Resource Management: Managing coins effectively is crucial for acquiring the best equipment and divers.
- Risk vs. Reward: Choosing to explore deeper or more dangerous wrecks offers higher treasures but comes with more risk due to potential monsters.
Game End and Scoring
After 10 went days, the collected money is counted. Profitable sales and successful dives on the last day can be decisive for the outcome. The richest player wins the game.
