Objective of the Game
In Push, the goal is to gather points by drawing cards skillfully without risking drawing too many cards and losing them all. Players need to balance risk-taking and decision-making.
Game Components
- A deck of cards with multiple colors.
- A set of dice.
Setup
- Shuffle the card deck thoroughly.
- Each player receives a reference card indicating the point values of different colored cards.
- Randomly select a starting player.
Gameplay
The game is played in turns, and each turn consists of the following steps:
-
Drawing Cards: The active player draws cards from the deck, one by one, aiming to create a stack with cards of different colors and/or numbers.
-
Managing Cards: A player can stop drawing cards at any time if they are satisfied with their stack and don't want to risk drawing a card of the same color or number.
-
Scoring Points: If a player stops drawing cards, they place their stack in front of them and earn points for each card, provided they are not drawing cards of the same color or number.
-
Risk Factor: If a player draws a card that matches the color or number of a previous card, they lose their entire stack for that round.
-
Dice Roll: If a player encounters a STOP card, they must roll a die. A poor roll may result in losing all cards they have drawn that round.
End of the Game
The game ends when the deck is exhausted. Players tally their points, and the player with the highest total wins.
Strategic Tips
- Balance Risk and Reward: Players should carefully decide when to stop drawing cards to maintain a good balance between risk and potential points.
- Observe Opponents: Keep an eye on which cards have been drawn to estimate the likelihood of drawing duplicate cards.
- Smart Use of STOP cards: These cards can be avoided several times and are risky.
