Objective

Luther: The Game is a strategic board game where players assume the roles of supporters of the Reformation. The aim is to gain influence over various regions in medieval Europe and acquire power points to score the most victory points.

Setup

  1. Place the game board in the center of the table.
  2. Each player chooses a color and receives corresponding influence markers and pioneers.
  3. Base influence regions are occupied according to the number of players.
  4. Shuffle the card decks and place them ready.
  5. Each player draws a certain number of cards at the beginning.

Gameplay

The game proceeds in rounds, each consisting of several phases:

1. Action Phase

  • Each player takes turns performing an action. Possible actions include:

  • Play Cards: Use event cards to gain direct advantages or hinder opponents.

End of the Game

The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds. The player with the most victory points wins.
