  • Instructions

Setup

  1. Each player takes a player board and randomly draws two pattern strip cards, choosing one to insert into the board.
  2. Shuffle the public task cards and lay three of them face up in the center.
  3. Each player draws a private task card which is kept secret.
  4. Place any number of tool cards in the center; typically three are used.
  5. Prepare a bag with the colored dice.

Game Play

1. Rounds:

The game is played over several rounds, depending on the number of players. - Rolling Dice: The starting player draws dice from the bag equal to twice the number of players plus one more. All these dice are rolled. - Picking: Beginning with the starting player, players take turns selecting a die from the pool and placing it on their board. This order then reverses, so the player who picked the last die in the first round of selection also picks the first in the next round.

2. Placement Rules: When placing, consider: - Dice must be adjacent to already placed dice. - No die may be directly orthogonally adjacent to another die of the same color or with the same number, unless otherwise allowed by cards. - Spaces on the board are preset by colors or numbers and must be respected.

3. Using Tools: Tools allow special actions, such as flipping a die or swapping dice. Using a tool typically costs player points in the form of tokens from their card.

End of the Game and Scoring

The game ends after the tenth round. At this point, score calculation occurs as follows: - Public Objectives: Check each public objective. These award points based on specific patterns or color combinations on the window. - Private Objectives: Each player counts the sum of the pips of their secret color. - Full Rows and Columns: Additional points for full rows or columns in the window. - Deductions: Empty spaces on the board result in negative points.

The player with the highest score wins the game.

Strategic Tips

  • Planning: Try to identify planned moves and potential combinations as early as the first rounds.
  • Flexibility: Smartly use tools to shift dice or adjust color schemes.
  • Looking Ahead: Ensure you have enough space and combination options to react flexibly to unpredictable dice results.
