Objective of the Game
The goal of Die magischen Schlüssel (The Magical Keys) is to collect keys and solve puzzles to reach the center of the board and discover the hidden treasure.
Game Materials
- A game board with a field embedded in a labyrinth.
- Game cards with puzzles, bonus actions, and events.
- Player tokens in different colors assigned to players.
- Key tokens, which need to be collected to open certain gates in the labyrinth.
- A dice to determine the move distance.
Game Setup
- Set up the game board: Place the board on a flat surface.
- Place keys and cards: Shuffle the cards and place them in the designated spot next to the board. Randomly distribute the key tokens on the assigned spots.
- Determine start position: Each player chooses a token and places it on a starting space.
- Decide play order: Players roll dice, and the one with the highest number goes first. Play continues clockwise.
Gameplay
- Roll and move: At the start of each turn, a player rolls the dice and moves their token accordingly.
- Perform actions: If a player lands on a special space, they draw a card and perform the action stated on it. This often involves solving puzzles or making decisions.
- Collect keys: Throughout the game, key tokens can be collected, which are necessary to open hidden gates in the labyrinth.
Special Elements
- Puzzle cards: Players must solve logic puzzles or thinking tasks within a time limit to gain an advantage.

Winning the Game
