Objective of the Game

Star Trek Catan is a themed version of the classic board game "The Settlers of Catan". The objective is to be the first player to reach 10 victory points. Victory points are gained through building settlements (1 point), space stations (2 points), development cards (1 point), as well as additional points for the longest trade route (2 points) and the largest space fleet (2 points).

Game Components

• Game Board with hexagonally arranged terrain tiles representing planets and space zones in the Star Trek universe.
• Resource Cards, representing different resources: Tritanium, Food, Oxygen, Dilithium, and Water.
• Development Cards, offering special actions or advantages.
• Ships: Colonies and space stations that players can build.
• Trade Routes: Extendable by building transport routes between colonies and stations.

Gameplay

1. Setup: The game board is constructed from hexagonal tiles representing resource fields, and number tokens are placed. Each player places two colonies and two transport routes on the board.

3. Resource Production: The active player rolls the dice. The number rolled indicates which planets produce resources. Players with colonies or stations adjacent to these planets receive the corresponding resources.
4. Trading: Players may trade resources with each other or with the bank. Players can use card effects to influence the trade.
