- Paper and pencil for scorekeeping
Gameplay
- Starting the Game:
- Each player takes a place or players agree on who starts.
-
The play proceeds clockwise.
-
Rolling the Dice:
- The starting player rolls all 5 dice.
- After the roll, they may set aside any number of dice and reroll the remaining ones.
- A player can roll up to three times in total before passing to the next player.
-
The goal each round is to achieve a total score from the dice eyes as close to 20 as possible, without going over.
-
Scoring
- If a player achieves exactly 20 eyes, they score 5 points for that round.
- If they remain under 20, their exact eye total is recorded as their score.
-
If they exceed 20, they score 0 points.
-
Game End:
- The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds have been played or a player reaches a certain score, such as 100 points.
- The player with the highest score wins.
Strategic Tips
- Use of Rolls: Play smart with the rolls. Don’t risk too much if you're already close to a good score.
- Tactical Holding Back: Sometimes it’s better to secure fewer points rather than end the round with 0.
- Assess Fellow Players: Watch how others play and adjust your strategy accordingly.
Biss20 offers both moments of luck with the dice and strategic thinking when deciding which dice to secure or reroll. Enjoy your game!
