Objective of the Game
Phase 10 - The Board Game is a strategic card game where players aim to be the first to complete all ten phases or tasks. Each phase has different requirements that players must achieve one after the other.
Game Components
- 108 cards: Number cards in four colors (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green) numbered 1 to 12, plus action cards (Wild Cards and Skip Cards)
- Game board
- Player tokens (one per player)
- Phase objective cards
- Score pad
- Dice
Setup
- Each player selects a token and places it on the starting space of the game board.
- The cards are shuffled, and each player is dealt ten cards. The remaining deck is placed face down as the draw pile in the center. The top card is flipped over to start the discard pile.
- Each player receives a sheet with the ten phase objectives.
- The player with the highest card starts; if there is a tie, redraw.
Game Play
The game progresses in rounds, giving players the chance to complete a phase in each:
- Draw a card: At the beginning of each turn, the player draws either the top card from the draw pile or the top card from the discard pile.
- Play your cards: If a player has the right combination of cards for their current phase, they can lay down that phase. Phases are predetermined from 1 to 10, like 2 sets of 3 or a run of 7.
- Play onto other phases: Once laid down, players can also add cards to other players' phases to reduce extra cards from their hand.
- Discard a card: At the end of the turn, a player must discard one card from their hand onto the discard pile.
Special Cards
- Wild Cards: These can be used as any number to complete phases.
- Skip Cards: When played, the next player in turn must skip their turn.

- 1 run of 8

- 7 cards of one color
- 1 set of 5 and 1 pair

Winning Conditions
The first player to complete all ten phases and clear their hand wins the game.
Strategic Tips
- Retain low cards: Try to get rid of high cards by the end of each round as they count as penalty points if you hold them.
- Use Wild Cards carefully: Utilize them to complete challenging phases but don't waste them too early.
- Pay attention: Watch the cards your opponents collect and discard to decipher their strategies, which can help in planning your own moves or blocking them.
Special Situations
If the draw pile runs out, shuffle the discard pile and use it as the new draw pile.
