Comparison: Players' selected cards are compared with the cards drawn by the Croupier. The first card drawn by the Croupier determines whether the player wins or loses. Traditionally, Bassette has no fixed odds, so players and banker have to agree on these. A classic ratio was about 4:1 for any card rank hitting.

- Win: If the player’s chosen card hits with the first drawn card by the Croupier, the player wins the corresponding payout.

Lose: If the player's card does not appear among the first three cards drawn, the player loses the bet.
