Objective of the Game
The objective of Ökolopoly is to develop a comprehensive understanding of ecological and economic interconnections. Players take on the roles of decision-makers tasked with sustainably developing a city by balancing economic growth, environmental, and resource management.
Game Components
- 1 Game board with sectors such as Industry, Environment, Energy, etc.
- Player tokens
- 1 Set of banknotes
- Events and Action cards
- Resource markers
Setup
- Place the game board in the center.
- Each player selects a token and receives starting capital.
- Shuffle the event and action cards and place them face down on their designated areas on the board.
- Distribute the resource markers to the reserves.
Game Flow

Start of the Round: Each player draws an event card that affects all players. These cards can have positive or negative effects on available resources.
