Objective of the Game
Nain Jaune is a classic French card game, also known as "Yellow Dwarf" or "Yellow Nine." The objective of the game is to be the first to get rid of all your cards to accumulate points while causing other players to lose points.
Setup
- Number of Players: 3 to 8 players
- Deck: A standard 52-card deck plus Jokers
- Accessories: A special board with card compartments for specific cards: 7♠, 8♠, 9♠, 10♠, and J♠. Chips or coins for betting are needed.
The board features slots for betting, where each of these cards has a dedicated compartment. Each player places a chip in each of the five compartments.
Gameplay

Dealing the Cards: A player shuffles the cards and deals them all out to the players. Some players may have one or two more cards depending on the number of participants.

Placing Chips: Before each round starts, players place chips into the slots on the board.

Starting the Round: The player to the left of the dealer begins by playing any card. The following cards must be in ascending sequence of the same suit, e.g., after 3♣, 4♣, 5♣, etc., up to King.

Completing a Sequence: If a player cannot play the required next card, the sequence ends, and the next player starts a new sequence with a card of their choice.

Yellow Nine Sequence: If a player ends a sequence with the 9♠, they may collect the chips from the "Yellow Nine" slot.

End of the Round: A player wins the round by discarding all their cards. Other players count their remaining cards as penalty points.

Subsequent Rounds: Points are gathered similarly, with the slots being refilled each time.
Winning
The winner is the player with the fewest penalty points after a set number of rounds or the player with the most chips accumulated.
