Objective of the Game: "Blue Moon"

"Blue Moon" is a strategic and card-driven two-player game, where players aim to defeat their opponent through tactical card combinations and gain the favor of the holy dragons. The objective is to have the most dragons on your side by the end of the game.

Game Components

  • Two preconstructed ten-card decks.
  • A variable number of cards representing characters, abilities, and special events.
  • Eight dragon figures or markers to denote the current game standing.

Basic Rules

  1. Setup
  2. Each player picks or is randomly assigned a deck. Each deck represents a faction with unique abilities and strategies.
  3. The dragons are placed in the center.
  4. Both players draw cards from their deck to form their starting hand.

  5. Gameplay

  6. Players take turns playing cards from their hand to bring combat strengths or special abilities onto their side.
  7. Cards have different symbols and values, indicating how they can be used in the game. Combat cards have a combat type and corresponding value.
  8. A player's turn ends when they no longer wish to play or can play cards. Generally, players draw cards at the end of their turn to refill their hand.

  9. Combat

  10. Combat is played out over multiple rounds. In each combat, players choose a combat type (Fire or Earth) and attempt to maximize the combat strength of that type.
  11. At the end of a combat, the player with the highest combat strength wins. The winner moves a dragon to their side.
  12. A combat ends when a player makes a battle declaration that the opponent cannot beat.

  13. Dragons and Endgame

  14. The game ends when all dragons are claimed or decks are depleted.
  15. The player with the majority of dragons wins the game.
