Objective of the Game

The objective of Inkworld is to be the first player to complete all necessary chapters in Mortimer's book and thereby finish the story.

Game Overview

Game Flow

1. Setup
2. Each player receives a game piece and an empty Mortimer's book.
3. The chapter cards are shuffled and placed face down.

4. Each player draws a starting card at the beginning of the game.

5. Turns

6. Players take turns rolling the dice and moving their pieces according to the dice result.
7. If a player lands on an event space, they draw an event card and follow the instructions.

8. On chapter spaces, the player may have the opportunity to collect a chapter by completing the task or challenge described.

9. Interactions

10. Characters and items: Both can trigger special actions, such as swapping chapters, skipping turns, or gaining bonuses.

11. Collecting Chapters

15. The game ends when a player completes all the chapters in their Mortimer's book.
16. This player is declared the winner, as they have finished the story.
