Each player takes on the role of the mayor of a small town and strives to develop it into the most vibrant metropolis. The goal is to be the first to complete all required landmarks, which are unlocked and added to the game over time.

In Machi Koro Legacy, each scenario evolves the gameplay, offering new challenges and a unique experience through its legacy mechanics.
