Objective
In "Hoity Toity", the objective is to navigate through the art world by cleverly collecting, exhibiting, and stealing artworks to achieve the highest rank in British high society. The game combines elements of strategy and bluffing.

Setup
- Each player selects a token and the corresponding game materials.
- Artwork cards are shuffled and distributed face-down.
- A starting order is determined.
- Player tokens are placed at the start of the track.
Gameplay
The game is played over a series of rounds where players secretly plan their actions. Each round consists of two phases: Auction and Mansion.
1. Auction Phase
- Each player selects one of their cards and places it face down in their auction house.
- Once all are ready, cards are revealed simultaneously.
- The higher value artwork wins the auction unless it is stolen.
2. Mansion Phase
- This phase determines whether players exhibit or steal artwork.
- Exhibiting: Players exhibit to gain points.
- Thief: A player uses the thief card to attempt to steal artwork.
- Detective: Players can deploy detectives against potential thieves.
Planning Phase
- Each player secretly chooses an action card for both phases.
- Action cards are revealed and resolved.
Strategy Tips
- Bluffing: Anticipate and bluff your opponents about whether to exhibit or steal art.
- Risk Assessment: Using a detective can prevent theft attempts, but misplacing them can lead to losing the detective.
Endgame
- The game ends when a player reaches a lead of at least 10 on the track in the mansion.
- The player with the most points from art exhibits and noble ranks wins.
TIP: Balance your strategies across the auction and mansion phases to avoid predictability, making it harder for opponents to counteract your plans.
